2009 NFL Season

Post by Bfan53again »

Ah, yes, the start of yet another year in pro football.......here's the kickoff for 2009:

Just heard on the local news that Ravens free agent LB Ray Lewis is talking to the NY Jets about playing with Rex Ryan again.....and he's not even going to consider giving Baltimore a "home discount" for his services in 2009 and beyond.

Bye Ray.....it's been a fun ride!

The World Champion Steelers were very impressive in 2008......

All 3 games with the Ravens were exciting to watch as a fan.......

Or go 0-16 for the second straight season?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

As a lifelong Lions fan, I have to say (for the 2nd year in a row) that the Lions will once again make history and win the Super Bowl in 2009. That would be the ultimate worst to first team! Go Lions!!

As a true silver-and-blue Cowboys fan I'm going into this offseason on a down note. Jerry Jones is an idiot, the organization is fundamentally flawed, T-Zero is a team-killer and I see no real hope for 2009 not being more of the same.

Of course, sometimes when you least expect things....

Agreed. Dallas under Tom Landry's coaching tenure was a first-class operation. I've never been a Cowboy fan, but sure did respect them back then.......

I think Jerry Jones and Dan Synder have the same problem. Both think they know a lot more football than they do. They should just get a real GM who knows a lot more football than just getting the big name players. A team does need a couple of big time players but those without egos, sort of like how Tom Brady was before the Pats won the third Super Bowl.
