They are trying to get the same spot as last year. But, it's not a "normal spot", so day of concert approval is still needed.phjrsaunt wrote:Hey Raleigh-goers????

On Wednesday, April 22nd, the world renowned Parrotheads of North Carolina are hosting the Second Annual Pre-Concert Party at Woody’s Sports Tavern & Grill, located at 8322 Chapel Hill Road, Cary, 27513. (http://www.woodysportstavern.com) We plan to start around 6 p.m. with Woody’s hosting “Big Slow Tom’s Trivia Show” from 7:30 to 8:45 and ending when we're good and ready!
Draft beer is $3 and they have 8 different brands on tap. There will be raffles for tix and other cool stuph with proceeds going to Make-A-Wish and our own Donnie Howard will be playing everyone's favorites.
Plus we'll be at the show by The Margaritaville Express and inside as you go thru the main gate. Stop by and see us, we'll have games and stuff to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation!

One of my favorite bars too! Sadly I'll be at work until 9 tonight and have to be back at 9 in the morning so I can leave at half past 12! I'm sure you guys will drink more than a few for me though.drunkin parrot wrote:Anyone going to this tonight? We'll be there, I'll be the one in a red hawaiian shirt! Finishing laundry, getting ready to pack, wonder if I'll get any sleep before my 6am flight.

Weather-wise, it's gonna be effin gorgeous today and tonight. Perfect weather for a nice, quiet, relaxing evening up on the hill with 15,000 of my closest...and most insane...friends.
First show for the 6-year old tonight. She asked if she could go talk to Jimmy and ask him to play Jolly Mon. I had to explain that it doesn't quite work like that.

Someone give me a few million bucks so I can buy a boat and move to the Virgin Islands. OK?

If your 6 year old does get to chat with Jimmy, I'm cool with hearing Jolly Mon, but can she ask him to play 'Delaney Talks to Statues' for my little girl? She loves that song like no other

Looks like a change of plans this morning- the pholks that worked the lot last year and helped us get the grassy tree area are not working the lot today - so it looks like we will follow the directions and go to the Premier Lots C/D - NOT "X" marks the spot on the first page.Tarheel Tail-Gator wrote:They are trying to get the same spot as last year. Sorry about that folks - those not able to caravan - give us a call and we will direct you to the new location. The good news is we will be closer to the front gate and porta potties.
It wont quite get to 83 today but it will be mid 70s by 3pm and 60 by 10pm. BUT nary a cloud in the sky.
PHINS UP PHOLKS - and as Albert say SMILE DAMMIT!!!!!!
