POTTSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - An eastern Pennsylvania teenager will be on probation until his 21st birthday for his role in the fatal beating of an illegal Mexican immigrant.

I think Stallworth is suspended indefinitely from the NFL.sonofabeach wrote:That blows. Looks like two others got off easy too.

In terms of the beating, it's unnerving when the life of a human is no longer valued.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I'm not a big fan of this action. My SIL's childs father is currently serving time for a 3rd DUI. He is also allowed out 9-5 to work. Should his employer suspend him for a year too? How about fire him. How about hollywood suspending some people like Lindsey Lohan or the music industry suspending the ultimate role model Britney Spears?

Glad the NFL is finally taking a stand on this. Good for them. Nothing says that Stallworth can't volunteer somewhere, get another job for a year. He just can't live the privileged life in the NFL.Skibo wrote:Frank4 wrote:Donte Stallworth suspended for the entire 2009 season....

If Hollywood or recording contracts had substance abuse clauses in their contracts then they could suspend that person for as long as appropriate. But thye don't. The NFL does.
