In Memory of Michael Hutchence

Post by VanillaGrl »

12 yrs ago today, I was in San Antonio to see U2 on the their PopMart tour as Michael Hutchence's life ended. Regardless of the many rumors/speculations surrounding his death, he is one of the musicians that truly touched my soul while he was still here...and still with his absence...Slide Away

That was one group I wish I could have seen with the original members.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

I always thought that if you could find some hot babe that does not know the lyrics to "I Need You Tonight" you could whisper the words in her ear and she would do you. I have not tried it I'm just saying that in a perfect world it would work that way.
One of these days  Great song! Great band!

Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

I got to see INXS twice, the first time was at the Orpheum in Boston, a 2500 seat theater around 1986. Second time was I think at Great Woods. They were a great live band.
