One of my favorite Christmas Ales. Unfortunately, I can't get it in St. Louis and I haven't travelled at all, so I couldn't pick some up elsewhere.

great.. now I'm thirsty! I havent had a beer in like 2 weeks due to this dang flu, cold cough what ever the heck I have!

Last Friday I tried the very popular beer on the left, Troeg's Mad Elf. It has a sweet cherry flavor
and REALLY packs a punch (11 percent alc.). The stuff on the right is Stoudt's Double IPA. I've
tried other Stoudt's beers and found them to be pretty good. Especially their Oatmeal Stoudt.
It's made in Adamstown, PA I believe and Troegs is made in Harrisburg.
P.S. - the Stoudt IPA checks in at 8 % alc.
