Coming up with a Greek Name for the *rival* frat house wasn't easy.
In the movie of course,
it was the Delta House ..... Delta Tau Chi (ΔΤΧ)‎
vs. the Omega House ..... Omega Theta Pi (ΩΘΠ)‎

But since I have had the Omega Sigma Pi(rates) design for a couple of years now ("We major in tailgating."),
I decided to use that for our *Critter House* fraternity.

That meant I couldn't use *Omega* for the snooty frat boys. Had to come up with something new.

I settled on Psi Phi Xi (ΨΦΞ) .... just so I could refer to them as the *Scifis* or the *Scifisies*.

I'll certainly taken suggestions for something better.

Well, back in my college days I pledged the 'I Felta Thi' fraternity but washed out during Hell Week.
We also had the 'Tappa Kegga' chapter of the Tri-Deltas (a/k/a the "Dirty Drunken Delts").
Feel free to make use of either one of these.

"Snooty frat boys" (or is that 'snotty'? [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif])
.....too bad there's no Greek letter that looks like a 'W', or you could have created the BMW — or "Beemer" — House.

One thing to remember, though, is that not every Greek letter organization uses three letters — UW-La Crosse has the (Alpha Xi) sorority on campus, for instance; and the "Revenge of the Nerds" movies had both the 'jock frat' AB (Alpha Beta) as well as the women of ΩΜ (Omega Mu; they were the Tri-Lambs' sister sorority) — so if you could be satisfied with the "Beta Mu" fraternity, you can still do "Beemers".

Back in the '50's that beanie was called a "dink". My dad was a 20 year old Korean war
vet and a freshman at Millersville State Teachers College. The senior class president
walked up to him and demanded "Where's your dink, freshman?"
Of course Dad replied, "I've got your dink right here." He then threw the prez into
the duck pond. This was just one of several incidents involving the veteran freshman
class and the "civilian" seniors. Soon a memo was issued: "Do not haze the vets".
Just thought I'd share that. :pirate:

Then there's always dear old Sigma Eta Tau — ΣHT — a/k/a the "SH*T HOUSE".

I think SP has got the right idea with the "Scifisies" (ΨΦΞ), though — take the high road and leave the more vulgar jokes behind.

Really, you shouldn't leave matches or lighters around me. I like them.
