If my source is correct, it could be part of a small concert series to kick-off the new stadium...Bruce, Jovi and possibly DMB (as well as JB!!)

The dates that are going on this month are still considered part of last year's tour. And, as everyone here well remembers, some of the dates that he announced last year ended up never happening.
