Saying goodbye to a family pet today
After 10 years of pure joy, I have to let my "first baby boy" go today.
Buffett Marley de Cuervo. He was a loyal pal and a great dog. Some things just s*** bad, and this is one of those.

Very sorry to hear this. Those little guys always take part of us with them when they leave us.
I wish more pet owners were like you.
I know he knows how much he was loved and how greatful he was for the love you gave him.
Cherish the memories and cherish his love for you.

Well that just s*cks. Nothing I can say will be able soften the emotion you must be feeling right now but if I could offer a small amount of advice . . . read The Art of Racing In The Rain by Garth Stein. Hopefully it will promote a few smiles. It is the best "dog" book I have ever read. Trust me.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Totally agree! I love this book so much, I brought the audio book so I can listen to it on my iPod! It was very helpful and healing.drunkpirate66 wrote:Well that just s*cks. Sail on Buffett Marley de Cuervo. If you see a smiling sheltie that loves to play, that will be Morgan and she knows her way around the way around the rainbow ridge and is a good friend. if you see a little tortie with no tail, take it easy on her. That is Boo and she is still trying to learn the ropes.
