Re: New....old RM problem...anyone else?
Hey everyone, sorry the stream was having problems but since it was working in most areas it was a bit difficult to diagnose. thanks to a couple of y'all we were able to ping the servers and Limelight figured out which servers were having problems and replaced them. So, hopefully it's working now for everyone. if not, let me know.
Thanks,
Coleman

Yep- down again. I think Jimmy needs to spend some of his $$ and upgrade the servers. They seem to go down too often!

now that the servers are "fixed" any chance we could get the song and artists names when we listen at tunein or margaritaville.com?

Down at work, which feeds through a firewall system in Iowa.
The website feed is working at home, which is closer to Jimmy's brother-in-law than it is to Iowa.
I also wish they'd enable the song IDs in their Shoutcast server installation.

It's down again in the Chicago suburbs too. Hope you can find the problem. Thanks.

I can't get it at work (VPN'd through Iowa), and it looks like other midwestern locations are affected as well. OK then.

Re: New....old RM problem...anyone else?
Yesterday, I realized that I was paying SiriusXM so that I could listen to one station, and since I saw that RM has an HTML5 option, I figured that I could simply stream to my phone, and plug my phone into my car...
So I cancelled by SXM account.
Except, now it seems that I can only connect when my phone is on WiFi. Once I switch to LTE, I can no longer stream RM. I have tried several options- The aforementioned HTML5 stream, pointing directly to http://radmarg.ic.llnwd.net/stream/radm ... orback.m3u, lifting the URL from iTunes on my Mac (which seems to be the same URL), using TuneIn, using StreamItAll, using ooTunes.
In every single case, if my iPhone is connected to WiFi, everything works fine. Once I disconnect WiFi and try to connect via cellular connection, I can no longer connect.
(I am on Long Island, so I have a rather strong cellular connection.)
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

There is also an RM flash stream maybe that will helpSanford wrote:Yesterday, I realized that I was paying SiriusXM so that I could listen to one station, and since I saw that RM has an HTML5 option, I figured that I could simply stream to my phone, and plug my phone into my car...

Unfortunately, Flash doesn't play well with iPhones.
However, I believe that I may have found a workaround (at least it seems to work for me)...
For those of you using iPhone, having trouble connecting with cellular (LTE), Go To Settings- Cellular- and turn Enable LTE to Off. Using 4G seems to allow me to connect using the HTML5 feed, as well as using TuneIn Radio!

RM started working today in the Chicago suburbs. Thanks to anyone who worked on the problem.
