I hope Indy is not in the same leg as Cincy and Alpine. Last year was great, I was able to go to all 3.

I wish he would play there on a Sat. and not midweek like he always does.

I had his staff tell me that Indy will never get a Saturday show because he can always pull a good crowd on Tuesday and Thursdays. I just always hope for a Thursday for the long weekend.

Hey Phriends!!

Long time fan and I have seen JB in PA, OH, MI, WI, IL but never IN. Looking at Indy for this year. Anyone have any advice on where to stay? Who to talk to about a pre-party? Ect? ect?

I live in town so I just drive home after the show but many people stay at Sleepy Bear Campsite. http://www.sleepybearcampground.com/. As for a preparty, last year Mishka played at the Mucky Duck and a lot of us parrotheads went to that. They do not open the gates to the parking lot until 1pm but we usually arrive in Noblesville around noon. There is an industrial parking lot we hang out until the gates open. Feel free to PM me with any additional questions. I love Indy, it is my second favorite place after Alpine.

FWIW, We're staying again at the Cambria Suites on Tegler. It's walking distance to the show so we don't have to deal with driving after. This is our second time staying there for the concert and last year they did a pretty good job with having a pre-party on site with live music and the entire hotel was decorated. Pretty cool. Not sure if they have any rooms left, but its worth a shot.

Lack of tailgating isn't really an issue because we just head over to the parking lot after pre-partying at the hotel for a while with a disposable cooler and make friends in the parking lot. Ditch the cooler once empty and nothing to worry about but stumbling in the right direction post show!
