Robert Kraft knew the NFL has nothing when he took the podium the other day. 99% of the media is a joke. How is this not the top story on ESPN.com? Because they know how stupid they look. Shed some more tears, Brunell.

my only argument would be 11 of 12 balls on the Patriot sideline were deflated and none on the Colts...coincidence??? , or guilty by association. They can say the same with Hernandez without a murder weapon...even though I think he is guilty as hell....same with OJ

Not a coincidence. Teams are allowed to submit their footballs to the refs however they see fit. It is up to the ref to inflate or deflate the balls within league allowed psi. Its that simple. It is the same for any team during pre season, regular season, post season. Even the most hardened Patriots hater must know this. You could, theoretically, take ALL the air out of the footballs and submit them or inflate them within 1 pump of exploding and submit them and you are still within the league's rules. The refs need to check them and then make sure they are game legal psi. The refs never checked the footballs. They were never deflated after they were approved. They were simply never inflated properly. There needs to be some serious apologies from numerous people coming real quick.

Again, isn't it funny how all the major media hasn't reported on this yet? What a sh*t storm. The reported false news and made accusation without factual evidence. The Patriots played with under inflated footballs because league officials didn't do their job. This actually HURT the Patriots because Tom Brady played far better during the second half with footballs that were inflated properly.

"In other words, although the Patriots did play with under-inflated footballs, the NFL hasn’t kept detailed records of whether those footballs were slightly under-inflated (which could be the result of a change in temperature) or significantly under-inflated (which would indicate that someone purposely let air out of the footballs)."

So many lies by so many forms of media.

If I was Robert Kraft I would go ape sh*t.

I guess more will come out after the Super Bowl , all is speculation about the refs not checking the balls, just like the attendant in the bathroom, anyone in Boston would never think they would cheat , I could care less, I'm just sick of Belichick and his arrogance , hell there are people in Boston who think Hernandez is innocent. If it was a non issue , I think it would of been addressed by now , and moved on. Since they haven't gives me the though , something is up. Just saying....and for the record Lynch's act is getting old.

Its not speculation. At this point it has been proven that the referees didn't follow protocol when checking the footballs. They didn't do their job. Because of this fact, every thing that the media reported about this has been a lie. They didn't have any facts but they reported that "the Patriots deflated footballs for an advantage" (and we all know now it was actually a disadvantage based on the 2nd half stats) as if it were a fact. They look like complete as$holes now. There is no way around that.

And by the way, every team cheats. Literally. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutd ... 01897.html

But only the Patriots get front page (fabricated) head lines for it.

Spoken like a Pats Fan!!!!.....now defend Hernandez........if it was already proven , why not come out with, that there was no wrong doing on the Patriots end. And the direction of the investigation is now on the refereeing crew that worked that game. Still what's funny is all the deflated balls ended up on the Patriots side line. I agree the balls had no influence on the outcome of the game. But rules of the games are rules of the game.

Refer to the links I posted above. I have proven the refs didn't do their job in making sure the balls were inflated properly before the game. No one knows anything because there is no record. None. Your turn to prove to me otherwise. Where is your evidence, Tommy? You have your opinion, which you are entitled to. You have theory, hearsay, inferences. Where is your proof? The footballs were not checked properly before the game and there is no record of the psi when the refs approved them for game time use. Espn, NY Times, Foxnews, and the BBC all reported stories as fact that are now proven false (or proven to be editorial or opinion) because of this evidence. There is no record. Where did the story come from? Even D'Qwell Jackson said he didn't notice a problem with the footballs and that someone lied about him saying something about it to his coaches. Everyone involved in these accusations have proven to be liars. If there is no record of the psi where is your PROOF they were deflated?

The proof of them being deflated was when the weighed them at half time. Before that everything is speculation. Most of the reports are coming out of the Boston market. Until i hear from the league and there investigation is complete i'll reserve judgement. I'm no detective ( but i do watch NCIS and CSI Miami) ....i'm just going on speculation that 11 of 12 balls were deflated on the Patriots sideline and 0 on the Colts sideline. How????....i'm guessing Monday or Tuesday things will come out of the league office. If the NFL had any balls , and there was no wrong doing , they should of announced it clearing the Patriots. That's my only other questionable evidence. WHY?......Belichik does like to tweak the league, and at times, he thinks he's bigger then the league, so anything is possible with him.

How????....i'm guessing Monday or Tuesday things will come out of the league office. If the NFL had any balls , and there was no wrong doing , they should of announced it clearing the Patriots. That's my only other questionable evidence. WHY?......Belichik does like to tweak the league, and at times, he thinks he's bigger then the league, so anything is possible with him.[/quote]

With respect, this is the last time I say this - you don't know they were deflated. They were never inflated properly by the refs before the game. Again, any team in the NFL can submit their footballs to the refs before the game in whatever manner they choose. That is legal. It is the refs responsibility to inflate them or deflate them accordingly. The refs never kept a record (as they are supposed to) that the balls were ever checked. We know (not speculate - know) that the footballs were never checked with a gauge.

You keep saying they were deflated. There is no proof of this. Yes, the game was played with footballs that were not properly inflated. We agree there. You infer that the Patriots deflated them. No, they did not. They were never inflated by the refs to begin with.

The only reason why you think the Patriots deflated them is because the media fabricated this part of the story. Instead of stating, "Under inflated footballs were used during AFC Championship" the media reported "The Patriots deflated footballs before game time." Without any evidence. Now we know the referees didn't follow protocol, that there isn't any record of the psi for the Patriots footballs before game time, which makes it impossible to assess if they were deflated, so any suggestion that the Patriots tampered with the footballs is a lie. The story was made up.

You don't know they were deflated. No one does. All evidence suggests that refs never did their job which, again, hurt the Patriots when you compare their first half offensive stats to their second half offensive stats.

Oh, so now I understand the MSC thread. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=94228

I still don't understand why a team regains possession if the ball carrier runs out of the field of play like a terrified schoolgirl.

Much resect to Seattle.

But with that said, Pete Carroll shouldn't have let Tom Brady go 37 - 50 for 328 yard and 4 touchdowns with INFLATED footballs for their 4th Super Bowl win.

Peyton Manning failed.
Aaron Rogers failed.

Seattle has one of if not the greatest team defense in the post salary cap era of football and Brady did what Brady always does. Haters gonna hate. But none of you all have anything on this. Brady. Won. This. Game. Perhaps his best performance ever.

Great game. I will be up for three days straight now.

Much love.
