For the record him being out of the game hurt there defense. They played with 3 hurt guys in the secondary ( normal game they don't play) and lost another during the game. Pretty amazing considering the extent of the injuries.
I saw the same report about Lane. My question is, what is the difference between a regular broken arm and a significant broken arm...
I don't know , more then one break. I didn't even realize he was hurt, until the next day

Sorry to their fans here, but that's the team you're rooting for. A bunch of punks who pretend to crap on the ball, who start throwing punches when things don't go their way, and who spent the entire post-game blaming each other for the lost (except Carroll, who at least owned up).
Everyone keeps talking about Lynch not getting ball at the end of the game. Lynch wasn't even on the field which is just crazy! At least have him out. I can't wrap my head around this. Its like the New York Yankees not bunting against a crippled, bloody sock Curt Schilling in the 2004 ALCS. Why wouldn't you? There is no answer.

But what is more crazy to me is the fight. If the Seahawks didn't act like such as$hole punks (which they are - at least some of them. I don't care where you went to college. A punk is a punk is a punk) then the Patriots would have had to move the ball out of the end zone. Tom Brady couldn't take a knee. With the penalty for being a punch of ass%hole punks (which they are) Brady was afforded enough room to take a knee and end the game.

The Seahawks could have got a safety which would have made it a two point game then get the ball back. 50 yard + field goals for Hauschka are not unheard of. If they didn't fight they could have still easily won the game!!!!

Crazy.
Lynch was in the game on that play , he went left on the snap , probably to move a linebacker from the inside...#24 clear as day is in there

Since you all were so quick to judge . . . using the same thought process (and due process) against Irsay and Pagano:

I mean all things being equal, right?

Using the somewhat questionable Buffettnews standard and manner of thinking it would appear that all of Jerry Rice's accomplishments should be removed from the NFL. Ban Jerry Rice forever. Cheater. A$shole. Ruined the integrity of the game.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... ne-did-it/

What did he win? Three Super Bowls?

All time receiving yards by a wide receiver with 22,000 +

All time receiving touchdowns with 197.

All gone.****

So sad.

**** I don't think this way. But I am in the grand minority here.

Things sure get quiet real quick when it doesn't involve the Patriots.

It would be even quieter if you would shut up about the Pats already.  :P

You do realize that the fact that there are other cheaters in the league doesn't lessen the fact that the Pats are cheaters?

Hey lets make up phony accusations and over react about the 49ners.

Joe Montana gave Jerry Rice the illegal "stickum" substance which allowed them to win numerous Super Bowls. It was a conspiracy from the owner down to the coach to the QB to Rice.

God, this is fun. I see why you all do it.

49ners should give back their all their Super Bowls and ban everyone for life!!!!!

Except none of the Pats accusations are phony. Belicheat even paid a hefty fine last time. Jerry Rice's apparent confession isn't phony either. They're all cheaters. See how that works?

No worries, they got the win. Bask away.  Really though, you're starting to sound like a Cowboys fan. [shudder] "Everyone hates America's team."

wasn't Lester Hayes with the Raiders who wore it all over there uniform? , I think O Lineman used to put some type of oil on their shirts , it would make the defenders hands slip off of them. Also , receiver gloves now are tacky , so how is that any different then stickum?.

Personally, I don't think any of this sh@t matters. But if people are going to flip out every time some media report says anything about the Patriots (and how inaccurate were all the reports on deflate gate? Now media is saying Colts messed with the ball to create controversy) I find it amusing to use the same logic towards things like the greatest WR in NFL history using a banned substance. What a hypocrite he is, huh?

I just hope that Mr Kraft continues to demand a full apology and a complete retraction from the NFL as well as those sore losers in Indy and Baltimore that conspired this whole tall tale!!

And, since I'm here.......

What is that Green Bay quarterback doing, snorting coke??? :pirate:

He is saying that his injury was due to an inferior playing surface at Ray Jay in Tampa. The same field that consistently is praised yearly by the NFL Players Association. Talk about not making any sense at all!! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
