Is anyone else experiencing anything weird with this site? Submenus for links are all exposed and the main pages are distorted.
I emailed Xfinity to see what answer i would get on a date ..this is what i received
Hello Tom,
Thank you for writing to the Xfinity Center. Once we receive any public information on a show we get as much information out as we can, at this time we do not have any public information on Jimmy Buffett and cannot speak on behalf of his touring announcements. His show is a regular at Xfinity Center and we hope to have him back in 2017
Regards,
Xfinity Center

My Mom had going to see Jimmy Buffet on her bucket list. I had been trying for years to get tickets but I was never able to, until last year. I took her and my Dad to see him at Great Woods. It was also a first for me. We arrived there at about 3 o'clock. My Dad just turned 80 and she is 79 so I figured it would be a long day for both. I am now waiting to buy tickets for the whole family for this year. And my parents have told me they want to go a lot earlier than last year because they didn't get to witness all the tailgating. I can't begin to tell you how totally awesome it was to see them having fun tailgating, and then witness the two of them singing and hitting around a beach ball during the concert! I'm new to this post, waiting for any word on when the tickets will come out. But just wanted to say...Thank you to all the Buffet fans last year for such an incredible time with my parents in the parking lot!!! Looking forward to seeing you again this year!!!! Hurry up with those tickets please!!

Hate to tell you this but there is a rumor that Jimmy wants to book Fenway Park this year instead of Greatwoods so it remains to be seen what will happen. So far all the shows Jimmy has announced for 2017 are places Jimmy did not play last year.

I keep saying that....I think Thursday's seem to be the day he makes any tour announcements.
Fingers crossed that it is Great Woods. As others have said, impossible to tailgate at Fenway. Meaning expensive parking (if you're lucky enough to find a space) and overcrowded bars.

If you don't count Frisco, Houston, Paris, and Las Vegas you'd be correct.
Frisco and Houston are make up concerts from last year as the 2016 Frisco concert was supposed to feature ZZ Top as the opening act but one of the members of ZZ Top broke his collar bone forcing them to back out. The 2016 Houston show was played under less than ideal condition due to flooding rains that had hit Houston the week of that concert

The funny thing is he played Paris in Sept. and Vegas in Oct , and they received new dates before others were announced.
The April 1st show in Vegas is being done as part of the big Academy of Country Music Awards weekend in Vegas that weekend. Jimmy plays Saturday April 1st and the awards are Sunday April 2.
Paris was announced early because this year Jimmy is doing 3 shows instead of the usual 2 shows

So by that logic then he has to play Bangor Maine again this year because ZZ Top was suppose to be the opening act there as well.

ZZ Top pulling out of the 2016 Frisco show was a short notice type thing and Jimmy was aware that many attendees were disappointed and no doubt ZZ Top wants to make it up too

I wouldn't consider Houston and Frisco make ups , he plays there every year , a make up would be Hartford , he hasn't played there since 1999.

The 2016 Houston Show was not played under ideal conditions due to flooding in parts of Texas which caused many ticket holders to miss the show. Jimmy went on with the show despite the conditions because there was no way to reschedule. As for Frisco it is a make-up show for ZZ Top who were supposed open the 2016 Frisco show.
^^
So if I'm understanding your logic he is only playing shows this year where he didn't play last year OR where he owes fans a make-up show. That means, by your logic, no Cincy, Camden, Great Woods, Alpine, Nashville, Nashville, or Jones Beach this year.
