Re: Who's Going to Charleston 5/11/17?
I just found out further clarification on the limited tailgating at the venue. The two hours of tailgating will only be allowed in the VIP parking area. They said there is only 250 spots. You must purchase a separate ticket for parking on TM.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

It takes me almost 2 hours to get the gumbo ready!!! I may have to skip this one and head north to Virginia Beach after the West Palm show.

If you have TM discount codes from the Schlesinger settlement, you can use them for this event. Not the free ticket vouchers, but the $2.25 discount should work. It's not much but every little bit helps.

The row numbers are very strange. Your not 62 rows back. Zoom in, you can see the numbers!ScarletB wrote:dnw wrote:LIPH wrote:Sec. 202, row aFinsupinfla wrote:Got mine, section 101

Re: Who's Going to Charleston 5/11/17?
Pam.....this is a small venue. My guess is around 7000 seats max for a concert.

That's the reason I thought the first level off the floor wouldn't be a bad choice because it's not like Gillette where I"d be a football field away.Carolinadreamin' wrote:Pam.....this is a small venue. My guess is around 7000 seats max for a concert.

Anybody staying at the Hampton Inn.........have you heard anything about a pre-party at the Islander? Trying to work through a rumor.

Re: Who's Going to Charleston 5/11/17?
The tailgating situation is still very much up in the air. The place I initially contacted was denied a permit to tailgate in the parking lot they use. The next place The Islander which is next to the Hampton Inn is not starting any pre-party until 3 pm and has a capacity of 400. Alcohol will only be allowed inside and since the Hampton Inn is completely full limited parking.
The Hampton Inn is ok with their guests enjoying themselves in the lobby area and pool area as long as guests use plastic and the Hampton Inn doesn't have to call the police.
We have a possible lot available about 2 miles from the venue. But will need a bus to get us to the venue and back as it's a country road without sidewalks.
The last option is to pre-party at a restaurant on the water in Mt. Pleasant. This could also involve a bus. Or prepositioning a car and taking an Uber.
Thoughts? Ideas?

Is there a bar/restaurant that is walking distance to the stadium? We can just have a BN pre concert get together!Carolinadreamin' wrote: March 9, 2017 11:57 am The tailgating situation is still very much up in the air. Re: Who's Going to Charleston 5/11/17?
That would be the Daniel Island Grill. The first place I tried. They have a large regular lunch crowd. With a 100 person limit. We're trying to get the BN folks who also belong to area clubs included.
