Re: Who's going to Great Woods, August 19, 2017?
I had this dream last night of a beautiful sunrise. I mean, this sunrise was like as beautiful as anything I have ever seen. I felt, in that moment of my dream, that this is what Zack Morris must have felt like when he saw Kelly Kapowski walking down the halls of Bayside Highschool years ago. It was perfect. Not as perfect as Jimmy singing the Hokey Pokey or some Dave Matthews cover but you get the idea. I wondered to myself, "what does this mean? is something great and wonderful being foreshadowed through the sub cockles of my brain?" And then I saw this. And now I know that Tommy Bahama is that sunrise. And all will be well and right at Great Woods this August. (bring beer, Tommy - - - lots and lots of beer).TommyBahama wrote: ↑May 3, 2017 7:55 amThanks!!! It's been a month since the last post in this thread. The times have certainly changed haven't they? The whole (Buffett) thing feels like it's slowly coasting to a stop.
It was too much tequila . . . . or not quite enough.

You should go to Jones Beach instead, that's as far north as I'm going.Fruitcake14 wrote: ↑June 13, 2017 10:44 am Maybe....Just maybe...we'll introduce Eli to the GW parking lot this year

Re: Who's going to Great Woods, August 19, 2017?
Funny, I had the same feeling a few months ago.
4 years ago we were at 100+ pages than we are this close to the show. The Great Woods page was either #1 or #2 in the page count for all of the BN "Who's Going" pages. Now sadly, we have one of the fewest page counts...
When do we talk about dead cars and where and when we meet this year???
Hopefully Dave and Barb can make it even sans the grill and awesome food. It would be nice to see their smiling faces this year!
And what's the deal with the late parking lot opening!?!?!?!?
We only get to do one of the best aspects of the show for 6ish hours??
WTF!
Hoping we're still meeting at Corks lot but when will everyone get there this year?
I made enough money to buy Miami but I pi$$ed it away so fast

Most are on FB and really don't visit much or if at all here anymore. I don't post as much as I use to , but I lurk every day. I will be a GW this year , but won't get there till about 2 or 3 ( work till noon). The golf tournament I play in got moved to the 18th , so it's a win, win for me.Chip wrote: ↑July 20, 2017 11:36 pmFunny, I had the same feeling a few months ago.

I assume we are all just going to meet at Shaw's at 9-ish then do then usually routine. Last year there wasn't much action here but the day of the concert everyone just showed up at Shaw's.
