Ralph MacDonald. What an artist. A lot of the interviews I did with people from years back were broadcast on the radio never to be heard again. This was a very special one with a very special man. Ralph was born in 1944 and passed away in 2011. His songs, "Just the Two of Us," "Where is the Love," and "Mr. Magic" have sold millions of copies. He played on albums by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Roberta Flack, Billy Joel, Paul Simon (Graceland), and Harry Belafonte. He performed, recorded and cowrote songs with Jimmy Buffett for more than 20 years.
He was a friend and also one of the most talented songwriters the world has known. He was a lovely man. His music will live on, and through his music, so will Ralph.
