Aw, Bill! I remember that! Fun picture.
G'morning BN!
Not much going on today - YET - more training, and I'm bringing some of my own stuff to brighten up my desk.

At the eye doc, at least I'm in a room with burning dilating eyes...should be an easier more fun way to dilate your eyes...lets think about that!

Aloha all!
I love that picture, Bill!
Mike's glasses fell out of the pocket on the sand chair at the beach concert last night. We were halfway home when he realized it. So this morning I drove back there and I found them! Bonus -- the beach was sooooo pretty. i may go back there after dropping Mike off at train more often! Now that I am you-know-what ..
Tonight one of our favorite local musicians, a guy from Dublin, is playing at a pub in our area. Planning on going! He does a great job with "Galway Girl," "Whiskey in the Jar," "Dirty Old Town," "Carrickfergus," and lots of other Irish tunes (yes I know that Dirty Old Town is actually an English song, but it reminds me of where I grew up -- our town had a fish processing plant, and boy did it smell dirty on a hot summer day!) He also does songs by Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, and others.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Nan! Bruce on Broadway was really wonderful! It was like hanging out with him while he told a bunch of stories about his life and career! He is so witty, lots of laughter. But also very touching and wistful. In between stories he played songs on acoustic guitar or piano. Patti came out and sang two songs with him. Loved it!lime rickie wrote: ↑August 16, 2018 9:38 amHow was Bruce on Broadway?sistergoldenhair wrote: ↑August 16, 2018 9:25 am Aloha all!

I live 20 minutes from where Bruce lived and still has a house. Bon Jovi was born and raised in my town. Been inside his house.

No, wait. When I used to take my kids to the skatepark in Sayreville, I think the exit was right before the bridge ...

Nothing in the short term for NJ, was just down two different weekends in July for family stuff. And now that you're retired feel free to hit me up in Vacationland anytime.

Good morning. I have to go get some muffins so I can have them with my coffee the next couple of days instead of corn flakes or cheerios. Instead of my usual supermarket, I think I'll go to the chain's other store a couple of miles away but I'll wait until after noon. They have a French beer at their Beer Den that I've never had so I'll have a sample glass and see if it's any good.
