So I s*** at checking in back "home" and have been following BN folks on Facebook. Sounds like BatMan will be in town and I wasn't sure if there are plans for a certain area where we are going to try to park together? I am bringing my 15 year old daughter with me so I am not sure we will be there at 2 when gates as "scheduled" to open. However, even if we end up away from everyone I definitely want to meet up with folks and help drink some of that liquor before it goes bad
I can't believe we are two weeks away! I haven't been to a JB concert since it was at Comerica and I am so excited to get back to Pine Knob where it should be.
Barry's gonna be in the house?? Welcome to the D Batman!!
Yep. He is on the "Gonna See Bubba Everywhere" tour from the looks of it
Noticed Debbie Wiles making the "Up North" trip but skipping our lovely state....
I've changed planes in the Detroit airport several times but I've never been outdoors anywhere in the state of Michigan. I've skipped your lovely state every year.
So the show is only 5 days away. Since the lot might not open until 2 p.m., where do people want to meet for the pre-tailgate? The park and ride, or up by the restaurants?

Well, dog gone it........
I think Soph and I are planning to be in the lot by 5 ish. I also think we may need to duck out early to beat the crowd out of the parking lot. I know that is sacrilegious but she has Driver's Ed in the morning and sitting in a lot for an hour or so after the concert may cause one cranky red head in the morning. I hate to leave early but that is the price you pay when your Keet has responsibilities. I will be listening and crying and wishing I was still inside on the way out, though. Thank goodness for Radio Margaritaville.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......
Wow! The temperature on Tuesday will be 33 degrees Celsius, 91 degrees F. Luckily I will have frozen margaritas, ice cold LandShark, and ice cold hurricanes to share.

If only you had friends here! Flights are still under $200, and it's Mandy's last concert as a Michigander.
My ship she has a rudder, but I don’t know where to steer

Maybe next year. My vacation budget is kind of busted with the trip to Ireland in September.
You know I had to try!
It would be nice to see you and Tom again, but I also have a dentist appointment 11:00 Wednesday morning. Unless I took the redeye home after the show I wouldn't be able to go anyway. The last 3 or 4 years I've been picking a city or a venue I haven't been to, Pine Knob fits the description. So ...

So Park and Ride it is?
What time you guys planning on?
And where you gonna land once you get inside? I want to finally meet some of you people in person! I won't be in until about 4:30 or closer to 5. Bringing a 15 year old Keet so I want her to experience some of the parking lot but not all day. However, she asked me yesterday if we are going early to "push the gates."
Guess she was raised right...

Okay everyone, still sounds like we don't have much of a set game plan for where in the lot people are going to try to be--in the past the goal has been to be by the grassy area between the lot by the venue and the "lower" lot. That has provided some shade and space. I know Dr. Corona has my number and I will be trying to check in before we leave to see if you have found a home in the lot. If not, please put a post on the BN Facebook page giving a general idea of where you are. You can even tag me in it (Melissa Jane) so the keet and I can stop by and say hello. If we don't end up meeting, enjoy the day and the concert and be safe

We plan on setting up on the Grassy Knoll, if there's room. Flying a Landshark flag, there can't be too many of those, right?

Just bought 3 seats in the Lawn; can't wait!
Question, these seats came with the Ivy Lounge access; anyone visited there?
Can't wait to see JB for the 18th time and for the 14th year in a row!
Fins up!
I am a season ticket holder and no lawn seats are available to have VIP lounge with it. You possibly could have VIP parking. Unless a season ticket holder who has multiple seats in the pavilion and lawn gave you extra passes which would be in addition to the tickets.
