Former NY Giants and University of Alabama coach Ray Perkins died today, he was 79. He preceded Bill Parcells as Giants coach and followed Bear Bryant at Alabama.
Before my time as a Giants fan but sad nonetheless. Sail on. ~~/)~~/)~~/)~~
We'll soon be talking about the coaches we came up with. It's a reality-check.

I've been in Eliminator Challenge leagues over the past few years and have picked very well.. Loving the Giants and Loving the Jets being horrible I never picked either team over the years.. For the 1st time I picked against the Jets 2 weeks in a row because of their record..I'm officially out because they actually showed up to win those 2 friggin games. . Oh well The Jags get to ruin Trevor Lawrence instead to the Jets so I do have that to look forward to..
The Giants play Dallas and Philadelphia plays Washington Sunday. If the Giants and Philadelphia win, Philadelphia will be 5-10-1 and the other 3 NFC East teams will all be 6-10. The Giants will be division champions because they have the tiebreaker. The NFC East is full of powerhouse teams this year.

Shhh...don't jinx them.

Green Bay's road to the Super Bowl just got a little rockier. Three-time Pro Bowl left tackle David Bakhtiari suffered what the team believes could be a season-ending torn ACL in practice on Thursday. The team will likely run more tests to confirm the ACL tear, but the initial diagnosis on that sort of injury is rarely wrong.
According to stats, Bakhtiari has been like a wall for Aaron Rodgers, allowing only one sack in something like 420 pass attempts this season.
It's bad enough to lose a key player to injury, but in practice?? Ouch!!

Rooting for this to happen........for no other reason than I'd like to see a 6-10 get in.....Stir up the "homefield" advantage controversy that exists when a team with such a crappy record gets by winning their division.
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
The Giants did their part, they beat Dallas. Now we just need Philadelphia to beat Washington tonight and the Giants are in the playoffs with a 6-10 record.

That game was a display of ineptitude and bad calls, right to the finish. If Evan Engram has a job after today he must have naked pics of someone important - he was dreadful, he couldn't catch a cold. And Aaron Rodgers must be LOL'ing about Mike McCarthy right now.
Anyways, everyone root for Philly tonight, okay? Gooooo, Eagles!

They're not going to play the Pro Bowl this year but they picked NFC & AFC Pro Bowl teams anyway. Engram was picked. Either there are no other tight ends in the NFC or the voters all have poor vision.
Agree. Our Local Lions could have moved up 1 draft slot if Eagles had "tried" to Win...
Thankfully the "Zebras" once again shafted the Lions with a couple of horrendous/shaky calls to help them lose & NOT slide back any more draft slots.

G-men shouldn't have had to rely on other team results. But even Eagles players are asking WTF?

You need to be like a vacuum cleaner and just suсk it up. At least you finished better this season than in 2008.
In the meantime.... MY TEAM'S GOT THE FIRST SEED AND THE BYE,
AND THE ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL GOES THROUGH TITLETOWN
(Green Bay/Lambeau Field).

Yea I was baffled. Oh well Giants have no one to blame but themselves. There is hope next fall.

More optimistic for the G-men than I have been in a while.
Where's Ravi? He loves the WFT team.
