Morning All,

Well the heatwave finally broke. Now we have a week of rain. It looks like it will be continuous soaking rain rather than storms and downpours *touch wood*.

Work sux.

It's not even 06:30 am and I feel like I need a large rum. Preferably Appletons 12y.o. Zacapa 23 would do as well.

Heading for a beer and lunch at our favorite bar may help as well.
Don't be down Bill :(

how is Anne feeling from her Covid shot?

I'm much better now.

Anne has slight soreness. We hear the second shot is rougher.

Our wet summers mean more biting insects. Is that a problem for you?

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Skeeters are a problem, we have quite a few mosquito borne diseases floating around. Some years ago Toni (Mrs Rabz) got bitten by a skeeter, either here or in New Caledonia. From that she developed Ross River Virus. From that one bite she has suffered from a type of Chronic Fatigue which has been pretty debilitating for the past 5 or 6 years.

So Wet = Skeeters. Skeeters = Bad.

Wow! I hate them too. Ours don't carry too many diseases, but a tick infestation gives a nasty disease called Lyme disease. Luckily, on water I only have biting flies.

I was up early today, went to get my Covid test before my tests next week. Had a nice semi calm day to ease back into the shop routine. Only 2 funerals for today. Relaxing with a margarita now.
Have a good evening everyone.

I see no problem with that. Before I retired I was known to have the occasional rum or bourbon in my coffee at work. :pirate:
Who's got the rum?
