I must confess that I do like Jimmy Buffett and am happy for his success although it seems the commercialism is getting a little carried away. But who am I to judge that since my job depends on successful commercialism itself. Not that that is a good thing. Still it would be nice to see some of his earlier rebelliousness against the industry. There are other artists who have maintained their disdain of the mainstream recording industry for the benefit of their fans (Neil Young, Pearl Jam, etc) who still remain successful. This is getting too deep, bring on the southern tour dates!!
