Re: Thirsty Thursday Again @ the MSC
World of Beer has a beer called Screamin' Woody. I didn't try it and I don't want to know the brewer's inspiration for the name. The chipotle chicken sandwich was very good. Grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, apple wood smoked bacon, swiss cheese and chipotle sauce. I have $5 in my rewards account, I may go back before it expires in 2 weeks and have another one.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

After 3 steroid shots in Kevin’s left knee he got a shot of the gel. That didn’t work at all. 6 yrs ago he had that knee replaced. All better.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑January 26, 2023 1:23 pmMassage or realignment?MsMod wrote: But I get a massage tonight. E reminded me that I must let her know that I have hardware in my back.
I had corticosteroid injections in both knees yesterday, doc says that it'll take up to a week to know if they help any. X-rays indicate moderate to severe arthritis in both knees with the added bonus of bone spurs in the right one. Next step would be viscosupplementation (injecting a "lubricant" in the joint), PRP (not covered by Medicare), or new knees. Getting old ain't always fun, but it still beats the alternative.
Keeping everything in perspective, easy stuff compared to what Moog is going through.

E had similar.. but he was bone on bone, nothing will fix that. Both knees have been replaced, and it was the best decision, ever.

Yeah, I know, I know.... But given my aversion to needles and a father/bride dance coming up, I'm gonna postpone that as long as possible!MsMod wrote: E had similar.. but he was bone on bone, nothing will fix that. Both knees have been replaced, and it was the best decision, ever.
I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Then you need to get that replacement done AFTER the wedding, Mr. SPH.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑January 26, 2023 8:32 pm Yeah, I know, I know.... But given my aversion to needles and a father/bride dance coming up, I'm gonna postpone that as long as possible!

I'll wait as long as possible. It's getting harder and harder to go up and down stairs (and I live in a 3-story house)... when I can't go up to our bedroom or down to my man-cave, it'll be time!MsMod wrote: Then you need to get that replacement done AFTER the wedding, Mr. SPH.
