Tailgating Question

Hi Guys — I am wondering about tailgating at Amelie Arena in Tampa. Have heard there is no tailgating in arena parking lots. Anyone out there have experience with this venue? TIA — Colleen

I went to one indoor show in Tampa at the St. Pete Times Forum. I don't know if they have a new corporate sponsor for the same arena or if Amelie Arena is a new venue but there was no tailgating for that show. We hung out at a local bar a few blocks away from the arena. I should add it was almost 20 years ago so things might have changed.

It’s the same spot, Larry.

Been redeveloped though with lots of things to do. The area is now called channelside.

No tailgating though. It’s a big ole concrete jungle but many places to eat and drink. No room for pop ups.
