Wrigley has no concerts announced for July so far.

Pine Knob 7/25 > Riverbend 7/27 > Wrigley/Alpine 7/29 would roughly match up with the order/timeframe of recent tours.

Wrigley has two July Saturdays where the Cubs are gone, 7/8 and 7/29.

Wrigley would be such a downer. No tailgating and such a crummy venue to see Jimmy.

Alpine has amazing tailgating and one of the best amphitheaters in the country IMO.

I've got a hunch, and I hope I'm wrong as I'd much rather prefer Alpine.

The Cubs are also gone the last weekend in August, and there is a concert on 8/24, leaving 8/26 open for a concert.

Yeah Wrigley likes to pair concers and have the acts share stages.

This seems likely.

Sad.

Tinley Park Ampitheatre has no shows scheduled between 7/22 and 7/29 and it has been six years since Jimmy played there, Toyota Park in Bridgeview also has the same open dates and Jimmy has not played there since 2011

I hate Wrigley, but I hate Tinley even more.

Toyota Park was just ok IMO.

Come on Alpine!

I emailed the Live Nation season ticket rep for Alpine asking how many shows they are having. I'm not expecting a straight answer if any at all.

It is always so frustrating that Live Nation throws all of the WI shows to the Summerfest amphitheater and starves Alpine.

The old music sheds away from cities are just out of style now. Tinley still gets some of the top country acts, but for the most part you’re seeing your favorite bands from 30-40 years ago. Everything else has shifted to Chicago street and park festivals, Wrigley, United Center, Soldier Field, or Northerly Island.

A Lve Nation season ticket rep told me that Alpine will have 6 shows.

Fins crossed!

Glad to hear Alpine having a healthy show season, especially without DMB and Dead and Co.

It's pretty sad when you have a great venue like Alpine valley and they're only going to do six shows there all summer and I hope Jimmy is one of them

It's even more sad when six shows is 50 or even 75% more than recent years!

It’s even more sad that we’re expected to pretend like Wrigley Field is a great place to see a concert.

Here is another thought.

Summerfest in Milwaukee released their lineup, but their headliners on July 1 and 6 are TBA. Those are a Saturday and Thursday.

While I'd much prefer Alpine, Summerfest would be better than Wrigley!

As I said in the other thread, Northerly is almost as bad as Tinley and it is small.
