Official Thank You to SunLover!
I want to officially thank SunLover for all his work in doing concerts and videos for this community. Part of healing is listening to those. But it’s more than that. We have a lifetime of concerts to play and watch, thanks to you. We cherish these and they mean so much to us.
We started taking our daughter to concerts in 2014 when she was two months old. Austin was her first show. She has the video and audio of the 5 shows she has gone to. What a treasure! Just think, in 75-80 years she will still have them.
And I know as more older shows are replayed in both video and audio, you will be there for us if you are able.
We appreciate you so much.
SunLover is the MVP of all Parrotheads!
|\s up forever!

Re: Official Thank You to SunLover!
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I wholeheartedly agree.
Roughly 20 years ago I was trying to scratch the surface and obtain some JB bootlegs and all that was available were some from Wolfgang’s…I had those, and then stumbled upon a JB “tape trading site”. It was nothing like the Grateful Dead and Phish tape trading communities in that the host had a very strict policy that was not friendly to people new to JB concert collecting. (I have a feeling some of you may remember that site)
A few years later I stumbled upon BW and BN, and discovered the good side again. SunLover is so generous, tech-savvy, and overall an amazingly helpful person.
I got so used to SL’s rapid turnaround time with posting the shows (audio especially), within hours of the broadcast, that we perhaps took things for granted and forgot he has a full time job too.
So, yes, thank you SunLover, all of us each owe you a tasty beverage of your choice!!

So much agree with all of this. I downloaded all the shows I attended when they were posted, and I appreciate you so much!
(Actually, maybe not the very first few. I'll look into that now if I can - thank you!)
EDIT: nope, I don't have Houston 2001, my first show. If anyone has it, please let me know? But regardless, thank you SunLover!!!

Let me add my thanks as well!
I have only been to two shows. Gillete Stadium 2007 and Mansfield 2009. Was able to get both shows and I can't tell you how many other full or bits of shows are on my ipod.
You rock!

Re: Official Thank You to SunLover!
Thank you so much Sunlover for all your time and effort with a lifetime of JB & Cr shows.
I and others on this site were fortunate to be able to see Jimmy and CR in St Barth for the 60th Le Select Anniversary and then again for the 70th (Nov 2019) Le Select Anniversary that was just Jimmy and his guitar. The 70th is so special to me to just see him play. Afterward we watched him walk away with his guitar hanging on his back, all by himself. Wish we'd captured that picture.
I too hope this site is keep going, it's fun to go back and hear the old shows.

I'm a little late to this thread but I would like to add my thanks as well. I've downloaded many shows I went to over the years and also picked single songs here and there from other shows I didn't attend if they were songs I never heard live before. Thanks for all your hard work David.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Like LIPH, I am a bit late to this thread... but I owe a BIG THANK YOU to Sunlover also!!
I have been able to download the shows I have attended as well as a few other "special moments" over the years... without your work, I would not have these (now even more ) precious memories!

Re: Official Thank You to SunLover!
Hear hear! SunLover has done yeoman's work over the years without asking for anything in return; this work has brought me (and I suspect others) hours of pleasure and memories.
Cheers to you!
Cheers to you!
