Are you making a dent in the book backlog? Recall you saying you had about 300.
Re: (Moog's) Bulletin Board at the Entrance of the MSC
Trying. Now that I returned to library trips.
For example I took out 5 from library.
Just finished "The Power Broker" by Robert Caro. Was sitting on my shelf for a decade. A 1100 pager about Robert Moses who built Jones Beach among many parks and highways. He was not a nice man.
Plus reading a couple other books off my shelf.

Picking that up to read is a good upper-body work-out for sure! After we read it we have used that book to press things flat,,, a task that normally takes several books to accomplish!moog wrote: ↑November 1, 2024 12:40 pm Trying. Now that I returned to library trips.

That is an understatement! But it is always dicey judging those from the past by today's standards... without him, the Jones Beach I grew up loving would not exist.

If you haven’t already, check out Last Train to Paradise, about the efforts to build a railway to Key West and is what eventually became A1A. Great read.

Waiting for biopsy on gastric. High probability that it's clear. But needed that comfort.
