Trying. Now that I returned to library trips.

For example I took out 5 from library. :lol:

Just finished "The Power Broker" by Robert Caro. Was sitting on my shelf for a decade. A 1100 pager about Robert Moses who built Jones Beach among many parks and highways. He was not a nice man.

Plus reading a couple other books off my shelf.

Picking that up to read is a good upper-body work-out for sure! After we read it we have used that book to press things flat,,, a task that normally takes several books to accomplish! :wink:

That is an understatement! :lol: But it is always dicey judging those from the past by today's standards... without him, the Jones Beach I grew up loving would not exist.

If you haven’t already, check out Last Train to Paradise, about the efforts to build a railway to Key West and is what eventually became A1A. Great read.
