Window on the World Wednesday @ the MSC
Good morning all!
Work is stupid, as usual. 85 more days. I'm fixing errors on timecards while I was out. My COO/boss put PTO on a card AND entered hours like the person worked.
Not much else going on this morning..
If you stop by Charles .. Happy Birthday, Frognot!

Good late morning Penny.....lurkers.
This morning had to take brother for a follow up medical swallow test in conjunction with his partial stomach removal from last summer.
Hit the road at 6:30 this morning to a medical center 45 minutes south of town for a 15 minute test. But...I'm not complaining too much because I was expecting it to be a 1 hour process if not longer.
Penny, I sure hope you fix MY timecard error from last week! Will need that extra double time I deserve for Christmas shopping

Good afternoon Penny and Ken.
I watched Casablanca and The Wizard Of Oz on HBO while I was waiting for UPS to show up with my 12 Beers Of Christmas box. My delivery window was 12:30-4:30 and the UPS lady was a few minutes early. This is the third year I ordered this box and I'm a little disappointed this year. Eight of the 12 beers are from breweries in New York, then one each from Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Not much variety, and 4 of them are beers I've had already. The last 2 years the beers were from breweries all over the country and all of them were new beers for me. They're not all "Christmas" beers either, there's a pilsner, a lager and 3 IPAs. Maybe I'll save my money next year.

Happy Hump Day
We're still without heat in the shop. The poinsettias are loving it, the humans no so much. We need a chimney liner installed and they can't get to it till next Wednesday. What's another week at this point we haven't had heat at all this year.

I heard that song today when I went to the barber for a haircut. That's all I've got.

Did PT today. Got in car without sliding board. Core is stronger. Snuggling in as it gets colder ahead of clipper. Ready for Liverpool football match.

Hi there! I obsess over ]he weather right now. Lake effect starts soon and falls into early Friday when we drive to Cleveland. The normal quick route is along lake Erie, but no way now. I'll take a southern 2 lane that is straight and flat. The drifts may be an issue.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I've only had a few. I wouldn't say I dislike them but it's not my favorite style of beer.Dr.Corona wrote: ↑December 4, 2024 2:44 pmAre you into Millshake Stouts at all?LIPH wrote: ↑December 4, 2024 1:05 pm Good afternoon Penny and Ken.

Happy Hump-day, BN...
And Happy Birthday to Frognot!
Moog - yay for ditching the slider-board!
I remember my Dad helping my Mom with one of those.... he was convinced she'd end up on the floor, but they managed to avoid that!
Larry - I agree, that does not sound like a good selection of beer this year! Is there a way to let them know about your displeasure? You can't be the only one disappointed.
Not much else going on here... just gearing up for our forecasted "coating to an inch" which means I put the snow-stakes in along the driveway!

Eight more work days for me.
I am doubting I will last that long without strangling someone...

Thank you! Had a busy day yesterday plus us old people need our naps.
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?
Bobby: No.
Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.
