Had a dr appt today that I rescheduled. Just too much ADULTING this week and I need a break. So now just food shopping & shelving books at the library (which is "down time" for me).
Tomorrow is our neighborhood "Crawl into Spring". We have 9 homes participating (all are co-hosted so it's not so much on one couple). We teamed up with the folks across the pond and our theme is Greece (not the movie). Anxious to see how it goes.
Last night we met with a "small group" from church. There are 8 couples and a few singles but not everyone can make each weekly gathering. Those there last night were transplants from CT, MI, NH & CA. We meet weekly to discuss a pre-made list of questions from the pastor about the prior week's sermon. We enjoyed doing this with our up north church family and were missing this. We are so blessed to have found this church which is very similar to what we had for 20+ yrs and only a 5-min drive
Good morning Linda and Debbie. I did my taxes earlier this week, I went online yesterday and completed my New York attorney registration for 2025-2026 and I scheduled a couple of bill payments. Now I'm free for the rest of the day. Well, not free but my rates are reasonable.

All good here in Broomfield, CO. Had fun at the cocktail party, Good drinks and food, and visiting with several people I like.
Slept okay.. miss our bed and pillows, but a nice room and view. Had some fruit, cinnamon rolls and coffee in the room while E was in meetings. Lunch at Noon, Dinner/cocktails/entertainment at 7:00. It's relaxing for me.
Hi there! We ventured into New York to find a favorite shop closed. We had a nice lunch on the way back. My burger was loaded and held together with a tooth pick and a steak knife.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Jim has ours ALMOST all set to give to our accountant... just waiting on one last 1099. It is very frustrating that companies get an extension to send out their form, but our taxes are still due on your birthday!
Are those hourly rates or per diem?

I saw the view you posted ... not too shabby!
Of course it is... there are no closets or windows calling out to be cleaned there!

At my age, if I charged by the hour I probably wouldn't make much.

They do! Making sure you’re paying attention on Sunday.
