Nothing much going on today at Carolina Cabana. At noon we're heading to our best friends where Scott & Kevin will watch a few more episodes of Breaking Bad (for the 4th or 5th time . Kevin bought the entire boxed set which includes hours of out takes, interview and commentary on how they filmed each scene. This is done right after the episode is watched. Esther & I will be shopping.
I have yet another dr appt this week (3rd one). I need an appointment with the new PCP to get a referral for a pain management dr. This is all new to us especially since our insurances DO NOT REQUIRE them. And very annoying. Anyway....
Yesterday we spent a few hours in the front yard digging up some type of nasty "ground cover". It needs to come out before it flowers and seeds. If you remove it before then it gives the grass a chance to grow. We made some progress but have lots more to do. I also made and marked a new flower bed along the garage wall. Someone in the neighborhood had dug up & gave away 10 clumps of Variegated Liriope which should do well in that space.

I live in a condo, we have a landscaping company that takes care of that stuff.
And we live in an apartment, and we have maintenance to deal with all of that stuff. We will also be looking for a condo whenever we get to move to Texas in a couple of years.
Good morning!! It's still just after 10:00 here. Not a lot going on. I did too much cleaning/bending/moving stuff yesterday. Taking it easier today.
Crazy busy day at the flower shop today. We had over 40 deliveries. Luckily 34 went to one of the local funeral homes for a large funeral service. Still, we went through a crap ton of flowers and we are sold out of plants until our delivery tomorrow morning.
We're pup sitting for our youngest daughter and son in law this evening so they can go to a Trivia night with his co workers.
I'm still struggling to adjust to the time change although I like it being light longer in the evening.
Got my walk in and did some shopping with Esther.
Now at the PCP to get the referral to pain mgmt Dr. still p*** off about the required visit just to give me a piece of paper referral that my insurance company says I do not need. My thoughts…. It’s a money making thing.
Hi there! We drove to a great place that has 10 wings for 7.50 on special. I had mango habanero, YUM! Back home we unboxed and set up a futon. Cutting up the box took three times longer than the set up.
I have been stupid about my knee. It still aches at times. When it does I think of calling for a shot, but I might miss a day of fishing.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

And to complete the trifecta...
We live in a house, and pay a landscaper!

We're on a 1.5 acre property which does include a bit of woods in the back, but it is mostly lawn. My husband had always taken care of it until his health issues 5 years ago put a stop to that. I tried - briefly - but our lawn tractor was too big for 5'1" me to control.... so, hello landscaper, who conveniently does snow plowing in the winter months a plus as our snow blower was also too big for me to safely run!

I am too lazy to open the MSC so I will hop on here. I own a house and do my own landscaping, which is pretty obvious
I enjoy it so even though it isn’t perfect. Too early to clean out beds, but I am hoping to add a raised vegetable garden in the side of the shed this year. I enjoy sharing extra veggies with my neighbors, and they appreciate it as well.
I probably should get ready for work, but the couch is extra comfy this morning. I will take another spin through a few apps then start my morning routine.
Enjoy your day!
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......
