The Hurricanes had a game last night. Brent Burns, the player who turned 40 years old 2 weeks ago, played in his 911th consecutive game. That's the 5th longest consecutive games streak in NHL history, he had been tied at 910 with a former teammate who retired 3 or 4 years ago. If he plays the next 5 games he'll be in 4th place. He'll have to play next season to get to the 3rd and 2nd guys on the list and another year after that to get to #1.
Have a wonderful retirement celebration Penny & E.
We’re sitting in line at Lowe’s waiting to get 10 bags of mulch loaded into Kevin’s suv. You know what’s next……unloading, then dumping and spreading on the flower beds.
Glad it’s a nice day. A little cool but once we get moving the temp will feel nice.
