Little Feat is a great band to see live, with the exception of the women singer who ruins several songs. Sam Clayton (who used to be a reefer) is awesome! Kenny Gradney does a great bass solo, Billy Payne gets alot of solo time! And then when it all comes together, they can really rock! I grew up with Little Feat and Buffett rotating about equal through my listening. I think the music quality of Little Feat beats Buffett but the production quality and Parrothead mania of a Jimmy show beats Little Feat. The great part of about the Feats is you usuallly get to see them for free! BTW, I wouldnt even compare them to the Doobie Brothers. I saw Little Feat open for Buffett and he come out and played with them! It was awesome!
