Nevertheless, there are any number of personal reasons why JB's plans could change at the last minute, so certainly no amount of advance info is absolute.
Yep, this caliber of info is as good as it gets.
But there was the year that Jimmy was supposed to be there when Mac played. Mic was set up, tables reserved, Mac was literally watching the door. Then something came up at the very last minute and Jimmy didn't show. So I hope you all get a great surprise tonight, but you never know.

Ditto. I wish I could be there to hear *Ilo* play! Pretty sure I'll have other opportunities in the New England area in the future but am really looking forward to hearing him.

does anyone know if any "special guests" showed up at Mohegan Sun on Monday....??????? I was thinking of heading up there, but didn't make it. Anyone catch the show ????

FB is cool and all but lemme tell you, if JB or any other musician I enjoy listening to is 10 feet away from me, the very last thing I'll be doing is taking the time to post online.....
I tried to imagine it from the artist's point of view. He steps up to the mic, looks out, and half the audience has their head buried in their phone/iPhone/Blackberry, texting/posting. One thing at a big venue where the artist can't see beyond a couple of rows but kinda rude in a small venue, imho....
Wish I didn't have to work tomorrow. Would have loved to see Ilo at that venue, cool plus to have JB show up, and the Wounded Warrior Project is one of the best charities out there, doing great things for the people who protect us. Happy for the lucky few there!

I just got back from the Ilo show at Stephen Talkhouse & yes Jimmy showed up!!! Ilo sounded great!! Jimmy was off to the left of the stage and watched Ilo sing about 9-10 of his own songs, then Jimmy came up on stage and they both sang Volcano. Then they played a song together from Ilo's upcoming album, then One Love. Jimmy then left the stage to get a beer and watched Ilo sing some more songs. What I though was funny was that Jimmy was drinking a Red Stripe, then his roadie came acroos the stage and handed him a Landshark, he smiled put down the Red Stripe and had his Landshark.
Ilo played a couple of more songs, then Jimmy joined him for 'Margaritaville'. Jimmy & Ilo sounded wonderful together and Ilo's band is excellent!!! I can't wait to see them again. I also got to purchase a 5 song cd from Ilo, it's on mailboat records. I have some photos here, I had a great seat by the stage for the show, wonderful evening!!!
Just got back from the Talkhouse and Jimmy WAS the special guest!!! It was crowded and hot and AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\
Fantastic show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I decided to go -I was at the table right in front of Jimmy with Ilo to my right about 5 ft away. The energy in that place was unbelievable!!!!!!! Got Ilo's cd & he autographed it for me!!
Jimmy said Ilo was doing Mohegan Sun again -I think he said tonight(my ears were hurting-I'm pretty sure that's what he said) All this for a mere $35!!!!!!
Oh, Jimmy's son Cameron was there as his dad's "roadie" -he gave his dad his guitar!!

I didn't realize Ilo had a cd available from Mailboat ~ super cool! I can't wait to contact them for my copy, and give it a listen! I also read on Ilo's Facebook page that it's available from I-Tunes as well, for those interested in downloading it.
I'm happy for everyone who got to enjoy last night's show.

Now I know this Joe down in Mexico.
He went there to work on his tan.
For years he's been plugged into blenders and songs.
