We have all heard the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine.” This is the day to take your medicine.
Some studies have shown that laughter may boost your immune system, relieve tension and help you relax. Who does not need any of those things in our busy and hectic world?

Good morning. I got home from Boise late Thursday night so Friday was vacation laundry day. Today is regular laundry day. Such an exciting life.

Back to work today after 9 days of vacation. I’m hoping to laugh. Sure going to try.

We actually have blue skies.

Not sure how long it will last....the horrific fires in Deer Park is getting worse....
More tanks with different chemicals are now on fire.

Had an early doctor's appt today, then came home and did my usual Tuesday chores and now I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner...

If you like french onion soup I have a very tasty French Onion Chicken recipe. The hardest part is slicing 3 lbs of vidalia onions

I had a gift card for Outback Steakhouse from the Red Cross for donating platelets 12 times last year so I went there for lunch today. It's the first time I'd ever been there, either down here, when I lived in NY, or anyplace else. Since it's a chain restaurant, not a high end steakhouse, I wasn't expecting much. The steak exceeded my expectations. The beer was another story. They have something called Bloomin' Blonde Ale brewed by Golden Road Brewery in California. It wasn't very good.

Ahoy! I spent time at the museum, came home and tried to get a 300$ depth finder on my boat to work.

It didn't.

I went to load a new grease gun.

The directions were in the house.

I got greased, cleaned up and got the directions.

Supper was good.

We love French onion soup! I settled on a Mexican "lasagna" type casserole, but I would love to get your recipe when you have time to share it.
