Good morning Bill. You can have my shrimp, I don't eat anything that can't live on dry land.

It was a little cool yesterday but it was pretty nice most of the day. It rained last night and it's kind of overcast this morning. Maybe I'll stay inside and catch up on some shows I DVR'd.

I made shrimp taco's Tuesday night. I'm a shrimp fan , as I am of most seafood.

Morning kids! Off to the doc to get a check up. Hoping for unremarkable results.

Love shrimp. My fav way to eat them is in a Mexican shrimp cocktail. Yum!

Spent my day off cleaning house. Not a fan of shellfish, but I like fish. Bill, you can have my shrimp too. Cheeseburgers in paradise is on my menu this evening. 🍔

Ahoy! Anne's recipe was a little bland and I keep getting jambalaya mixed up with gumbo, so I sprinkled my bowl with hot red pepper flakes. Yum...…..

Shrip are free swimmers! Now, their freshwater cousins, crayfish are called mudbugs for a reason. :D
I saw a beat up scow of a trawler docked in Bar Harbor Maine, loaded with crates of sea cucumbers. They are used in Asian markets. Now, that is an ICK!

Mmmmm.. shrimp. LOVE it most any way, except coconut. And that's cause I can't stand coconut. :D I'll eat most all seafood/fish/beef/pork/chicken/turkey, etc. But I will NOT eat most vegetables. Or fungus. Ick. :lol: :lol:

So I just posted this on FB. A very crazy day at work, and all I wanted to do was go home. BUT... Tonight was a fun night at Peakview (Mom's place). They invited families to play some trivia. It was a video/picture kind, and we had to guess country flags, and then movies, by just looking at a picture. 3 teams, and the scores were close all night. Then it got down to 2 teams who were tied, and we broke the tie with famous women in history... And "Sharon's Kids" (our team name) WON!!!! :D Each table had some Peakview employees at it, and it was a ton of fun! Lots of laughs. Mom didn't care to come and join us, and looking back, she wouldn't have enjoyed herself. There was a big gift bag prize, and we sent it home with my sister. They also served finger foods/beer/wine. Hope they do it again soon! :D

Sounds like a fun time Penny.

You all got me inspired so after work I stopped at the market and made huge Mexican shrimp cocktails for dinner. They were yummy!

Here’s the recipe I invented if anyone’s interested...

Chop pretty small:
4 green onions
1/2 bunch cilantro
2 avocados
A bunch of cherry tomatoes
6 cloves garlic
Cucumber, peeled and deseeded
Jalapeño
Mix above with salt, pepper, hot sauce, and juice of one lime

Separately mix:
Juice of 3 limes
8 oz clam juice
12 oz jar chili sauce
Then toss this sauce with a 16 ounce bag of thawed, deveined, tail off
shrimp

To serve divide veggie mix into 4 to 6 bowls (this is a full meal for four) and divide shrimp and sauce over it evenly. Serve with a spoon and tortilla chips.
