Good Morning Everybody!

After a beautiful Sunday, the weather guessers tell us there are many days of rain ahead
Last Thursday we had 3" -- certainly hoping we're not trying to break last year's record since our county began keeping record of rainfall.

Good morning. It's supposed to be 75 degrees today. Major league baseball starts Thursday (except for the 2 games Seattle and Oakland played in Japan last week) and the Pelicans start next week.

I used to have a co-worker who always had a coffee mug in his hand.

One day he I heard him say something about not drinking coffee anymore....

Off on a tangent, we used to have a secretary that wasn't always the best typist and she put out a memo from our boss telling us to be mindful of our cow-orkers about something or another...… From that day on, people in our department were called cow-orkers.

what an ugly-weather day here in south central PA

The day started gray and rainy, now it's bright and the sun is shining but the wind has really kicked into high gear and it's cold! I want to go where it's warm!

I had a glorious birthday weekend. My son is in the Army and currently stationed in Georgia, he called me bright and early on Saturday. Yesterday my 3 daughters and son in law took us out for brunch. Had a wonderful time. I just love my kids.

Speaking of coffee, at brunch I ordered a lavender latte. It was really surprisingly good.

Ahoy! Our day got sunny and much nicer than I thought it would be. Wings, fries and a beer for lunch and a Dairy Queen for dessert made the day better. I sprayed varnish on my little door prizes for parrotfest and did boat stuff. Life is good.

Lavender latte, Sally? What flavor?

It tasted of lavender. Very subtle and not flowery, but very good.
