Hey everyone!

What do you have going on today?

We'll just try to stay dry here in PA. We have a 4-1 ratio of rain-dry weather that seems to be our norm these days :(

Good morning, Linda! :)

We have errands to run this morning after we get some breakfast.

But woke up to this (was predicted). Tired of the snow, but it's keeping the fire danger down. :)

It's not raining 24/7, but we're on our 11th straight day with rain. It's good for the yard, so I'm not complaining (yet).

Good morning. It started raining in the 6th inning of the Pelicans game last night. It wasn't bad enough for the umpires to delay the game but it was bad enough to be annoying. By the 8th inning it was still raining and they were winning 6-1 so I decided to leave. I picked the right time. I got to my car, started the engine, put my seatbelt on and before I had a chance to put it in gear and pull out of my parking space, what had been a light rain shower turned into a downpour and it was like that the whole ride home.

well, I am pleasantly surprised.....we now have a bright sunny sky and warm temps. Although it is humid because of our massive rain last evening but at least I'm getting a few outside projects done. With a little help from Kevin (who has been fighting a losing battle with a cold since Tuesday) we got my raised bed put together and spread some grass seed in a few very muddy areas (see note above about massive rain).

time for an adult beverage :)

I'm waiting until 3:00 for my first adult beverage, that's when game 2 of the Carolina Hurricanes playoff series starts. Then at 6:00 the Pelicans game is on TV. They have a new play by play announcer this year so maybe I'll be able to watch the game with the sound on. The annoucer they had the last 3 years was terrible.

We finally made it to Baytown for the Spring Nationals
It isn't raining right now but could at any minute. However, the wind is blowing over chairs and I expect the canopy to be in Kansas with the next gust!.

I had to work today, Bryan took our big guy to the vet for a check up and stopped by the flower shop with him so my boss could see him. I came home and have been doing laundry while Bryan is draining and cleaning the hot tub. We have a beautiful day, but expecting all day rains tomorrow.

Washed the car and vacuumed the pool, now enjoying an adult beverage.

Had two clients today at the spa, one at 10 and another at 2. Hubby and I went out to breakfast between them and we also cruised our favorite 2nd hand store.
Now I am home cuddled up on the bed with my dogs relaxing while hubby watches a movie I’m not really interested in.

Tonight we may drive to my daughters house to visit our son in law. They live about a 30 minute drive from us. On Thursday night he was playing a basketball game with friends and he injured his achilles. It was very painful so he went to the doc on Friday and they put him in a splint and on crutches. On Monday he goes in for an MRI to see if it’s torn or detached. Anyway he’s bored out of his mind, he’s regularly a very active guy. So we might go visit him just to break up his day.
Yesterday I was out shopping so I decided to make him a care package. I bought a whole bunch of snacks, crossword and wordfind books, silly putty, a small nerf gun so he can annoy my daughter ;) and hubby threw in a couple comic books he had from years ago. My daughter works until 11 tonight so we’ll pick up dinner for them.

And we are home. Love days like this....great friends, a few new friends; good racing, good food and great racing stories. 💗💗💗💗

Yoy know the saying, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes.
Yes. That was today. Started off cloudy, drizzly and progressed to not drizzle but heavy wind. Then more wind. Then it started pouring. After rhe storm it cleared up and the wind disappeared. After dark, the wind got worse and the temps dropped. Like a dummy, I wasn't expecting the temps so I spent the evening huddled in the motorhome.
Brrrrr

But we still had a good day
