Good morning BN. In my rural valley there are ponds and wetlands full of small frogs. Their chorus at night is delightful. What a great sound from a frog the size of my thumb.

Good morning Bill and Deb!
No sounds from wildlife here this morning.
Some cooking and laundry are pretty much on the agenda today. Snow from yesterday morning is all but gone. Grass is liking it.

Good afternoon everyone. We are thankful we had a beautiful Saturday since today is overcast with rain coming later. At least the small areas we seeded yesterday will get a drink.
Kevin is still battling his cold but is willing to help lug stuff from the garage to the backyard for me. I can’t wait to get annuals and herbs going in the next few weeks. But, with severe tree pollen allergies I punish myself being outside this time of year.

Afternoon BNers
We decided not to go to the track today. It is so convenient to stay home and watch the race and enjoy food in the fridge and potties that aren't portapotties.

Day is sunny but wind is still blowing. NHRA has big screens to watch the races and replays but haven't been able to put them up this weekend.

Packed breakfast and Hubby and I walked to the beach. At noon theres still a bit of marine layer, but it’s burning off. The tide is way out, waves are flat. My plan is to lounge around here for a while then head home to work on my garden. It’s time to organize my plants and get our tiny yard cleaned up.

We slept in then Bryan made a wonderful French toast breakfast this morning. Then he went to the grocery while I took a leisurely shower and then did a load of laundry. We unpacked a few more boxes and re hung some pictures. Then he made guacamole for our loaded nachos dinner tonight and egg salad and tuna salad for our lunches for the upcoming week. We are enjoying an adult beverage and dinner will be soon! Have a wonderful evening!

Ahoy! Hours of rain have lead to sunshine and peepers singing.

I am one of those people that hasn't watched an episode of GOT. Just no interest.

Me neither, and I devoured sword and sorcery as a youth. I drew a bad a$$ Conan way before Arnold.
We just made the Weather Channel. A storm with a tornado watch rolled thru my county. We witnessed the first hail storm under a metal roof.

We have a tornado watch for our area and a tornado warning just south of us.

Same here, Molly.

I get that people like it, but it's just not my 'thing'.

Safe thoughts to you all with bad weather on the way.

We had a pretty nice day after a week of 80's then snow and chilly.
Rockies FINALLY won today, Avalanche won in OT last night, and I was happy that Tiger Woods won the Masters today - it's been a LONG time for him. Always liked him. Had a great career, then some stupid decisions, then several back surgeries (which gives me hope), and back again to win today.

We’re in that tornado “thing” too.
Our 5yr old grandson had his first emergency room visit today. After his hockey game was over he and his daddy stayed at the rink for the public skate session. Apparently Austin tried to “check” someone. (This is some type of hockey maneuver). He missed the skater but hit the board. He is now sporting 3 staples in the top of his head. We’re thankful there is no concussion. Or hockey practice or games for 2 weeks because of the Easter holiday. Give his head time to heal

Hope the tornado "thing" doesn't hit you.
Yes, checking IS a hockey maneuver.

Glad Austin is okay, tho!
