Morning Bill, Deb & BN.
Happy Easter!
Early dinner at my aunt's is the only thing planned today. All of the house chores were done yesterday to include bathing the pups. I have been packed since Fri for OB (I fly out tomorrow morn) so I don't know what I'll do to kill time & try to make the day go faster...

Good morning Roy, Andrea, Deb, and Bill!

Happy Easter!
Not doing anything for the holiday. Family meals just aren't the same without my parents, and other family friends who aren't around anymore.
So it's laundry and other chores today. Today was a long/fun day NOT at home, so I need to catch up dishes and stuff.

Easter greetings to all.
It’s a very beautiful day in Eastern Iowa today, so I think I’ll make me a lunch and drive to Kent Park and feed the ducks. They seem to love pistachio nuts.
I guess this means I’m officially old.

Good morning. It's a nice sunny day but the temperature is only in the 50s. I think I'll do laundry, drink coffee and catch up on some shows that I DVR'd.

Morning BNers
It looks like a beautiful day. Nothing planned but having Cajun turkey for dinner instead of ham this year. Feeding the ducks is a great idea....I might do that too.
We drove to Galveston yesterday for a lovely dinner across from the Opera House. Dinner was great.
Jerry Jeff was sad. He is still recovering from his second throat surgery. Last time, he didn't perform for almost a year. I think he is pushing too hard this time. His voice was barely a whisper. He tried and was singing his heart out. He was singing and telling stories but we could barely hear him.

The only saving grace was his guitar player Chris Gage. He also sings harmonies with JJ so that helped.
Hoping Jerry Jeff takes more time to heal......❤❤❤

Slept in a bit, tben I made breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen. Bryan put the ham in the crock pot. I just pulled the rolls out of the oven, now gonna get ready to head to the in laws for dinner with one of my girls, and Bryan's oldest brother, his wife, daughter and grandson. Everyone else is doing their own thing, but since this is his parents first Easter home in Ohio for years, we felt that they needed a little company. Have a great day!!!

Hello everyone. Yesterday’s Easter egg hunt in the pouring rain with our 5 and 8 yr old grandboys is all forgotten as today is absolutely gorgeous!
Attended our 9 am easter church service which was awesome. Doing a few odd and ends while enjoying the tunes of the “Kevin Ringer Experience”.
Soon time to jam the ham in the oven for the 11 people ascending on Ringville in a few hours. Not a big production this year. Been here done that too many times. It’s a buffet this year with “fancy” paper plates and everyone bringing a food contribution. So glad some of us will be able to sit outside on the decks.

Getting some storms coming through. It's fun to hear thunder again.

Rain tonight and into tomorrow morning. Love the rain, but do we always have to have precipitation on the morning drive??
Nothing 'fancy' for our dinner tonight. I knew I'd be busy with 'chores', so we're making sub sandwiches.

HI there! We drove through a small college town with a congested main drag. It was deserted! I feit for the workers at Mickey D's. They had one car.

Sitting down to the quiet sound of birds chirping. Nice enough to have all the windows open. Well it’s nice except for my severe tree pollen allergies. All of our 11 easter dinner guests are gone. Everything is back in its place and the dishwasher is chugging along. Ahhhhh. Time to relax.

I could be creative and tell you about an old cajun woman in the swamps....
But.
I bought it at Walmart.
