Thank you, friend. We were not. It was a HUGE mess for the area. Fatalities, damage to the highway, many vehicles destroyed. Highway is still closed today. Big impact to the area, and trucks running across the country.

I would love someone to give me menus. After this many years, I feel like I have cooked everything soooo many times. I ocassionally find a new recipe that sounds good....not always a good idea.

Tho I have MANY cookbooks that I love, I still follow the Food Network on FB (and watch their shows) and get a lot of recipes there.

Years ago, after our second 'keet was born, Mrs SPH was on Maternity Leave and every night made something new and exotic from some recipe from one of the many cooking magazines she subscribed to.
One night at dinner, our 5 year old 'keet Megan said "Dad, you gotta get rid of those magaizines."
"Magazines?" I asked.
"Yeah, those magazines with all the weird recipes that mom's making...."

And we survived shopping. Went to Dollar Tree. It is smazing how much cheap stuff I think we need.
But I got a bag full....they had alot of cute flamingo stuff that I just had to have.

Stopped a local thrift shop and found a pair of capris. I just love when people donate items brand new with tags still on them.

And finally to Kroger. How can we be out of everything????
