The pups are happy that we're back to our normal routine of coffee & morning play time. Although I didn't finish all of the laundry yesterday, it's supposed to be in the low 80's today & I'm feeling the need for some kayak fishing

Yep, this month HAS gone by fast.

A little bit of wet snow overnight. Some thunderstorms later, and then some snow overnight tonight again. Happy Spring!!

I'm doing some laundry, and not much else today. Had a great visit with my kiddos this past weekend, but truth be told, I SHOULD have stayed home in bed. So, I'm still not feeling the best and I do have to work tomorrow and I NEED to be better to gear up for Mother's Day next week. I slept in this morning, now I'm thinking I need to try to eat some toast. Have a great day!

If I were a betting man, I would bet our local Wahlburgers is history. It closed for the winter, which it hadn't done the first 2 years it was open, and when it closed there was a sign on the front door that they would be reopening in the spring. I went to Broadway At The Beach earlier and walked by Wahlburgers. The sign about reopening in the spring is still on the door but the place is still closed. I ate there once and I wasn't impressed. I ate at the one in Vegas once and I thought their burger was better than the one here.

Hi there! It was cool and overcast on the reservoir, but at least the fish weren't hitting. I enjoyed little rivulets pouring through the mountain laurel into the lake.
I had ribs for supper and dental floss for dessert.

Windchill is 39.
Announcers keep saying it could be worse....it could be snowing.

It's snowing here. Good thing the Rockies are not playing at home. Temperature with wind chill is 35.
