Good late morning/early afternoon. It's pretty sad when I open the MSC.

Oh my goodness.....I missed breakfast here today!
Happy lunchtime everyone.
We had a beautiful day yesterday but it's been raining since overnight....and still into today. So grey and dreary

.
But, on the bright side (pun intended), I'm leaving at 11:30 tomorrow for a girls' beach weekend

Afternoon BNers
Not raining right now but more is coming.
So surprised we haven't had some power bumps but glad we haven't.
With all the rain yesterday, it brought out the alligators in places they shouldn't be.

I was out enjoying the nice weather and I saw something I've never seen before. A bird dropped out of the sky dead on the path in the park. Then on the way home there was a car in front of me at a red light with a license plate that said BJ MAN. Okkkaaaay

Hi there! I guided an Amish group around our museum grounds on a beautiful morning, then mowed. I am getting my car inspected with an oil change at the local garage. Peter Mayer wrote a song called Romeo's Garage. This place isn't it.

When I moved here from NY, I was surprised to find out South Carolina doesn't require annual car inspections.

My neighbor bragged about being a "bottom feeder" with driving old cars, would sell to Ohio buyers. The Ohio line is over an hour west. They don't have inspections either.

Earlier today, Joey Gallo of the Texas Rangers (and a former Myrtle Beach Pelican) became the first player in the history of major league baseball to hit 100 home runs in his career before getting 100 singles. He only has 93 singles. I didn't look it up but he probably has 500 strikeouts, a perfect example of what's wrong with today's all or nothing baseball.
