<---- this person does NOT like coconut. The flavor OR the smell. Ick. Please keep it off my shrimp, too. ;)

Sounds like a great concert, Larry. :)

No rain here. Beautiful day, and finally no snow!!! :P

Visited Mom this morning, and it was a good visit. I was told she stayed up ALL night waiting for me or my sister. :o :-? But she actually looked good, so I'm amazed. We looked through some pictures, and I stayed with her while she had her lunch. Didn't eat a lot, but she did eat.

Glad you got some beach time, Linda! :)

We had plans to have dinner with a good friend of Cameron's. They worked together for years. His wife used to work at Kindred and helped me get my foot in the door. They moved to Florida a year ago. But the got hung up and couldn't make it. So we went up to our favorite bar/restaurant we were at last night. :D Bartendter (Paige) was our waitress last night, and wasn't skimpy on the drinks.. Good thing we can walk home if needed. :D

Glad you enjoyed the Seger show. Of course those of us here in Michigan are quite biased......as MANY here reflect fondly to seeing him in 100 seat rooms back in the late 60's/early 70's...not myself but his show was the first concert I ever attended back in 1975 during the Beautiful Loser tour. Many of us here think that Seger is one of the top artists of his generation as well as one of the better "classic" rock performers. Glad you were able to catch him later rather than never!

Last night was my first Bob Seger concert (and since this is his farewell tour, my last) and it was a great show. Twice during the show he said since it was his last tour he decided to do some songs he hadn't done in a while. The first one was the only song he did that I didn't know and he said he hadn't played it live in 26 years. The second one was You'll Acompany Me (I know that's spelled wrong, he spells "accompany" funny in the title), which is one of my favorite Seger songs, and he said he hadn't played that in about 30 years. He also did some of my other favorite songs - Main Street, Night Moves, Turn The Page and Hollywood Nights. I left the Coliseum happy.

The opening act was a country singer named Sunny Sweeney. That name sounds familiar to me, I think she was at The Big State Festival in Texas back in 2007. Since I'm an anal retentive freak and I keep track of the performers I've seen in concert, I'll have to check my computer when I get home.

Checkout time is 11:00. I'm trying to decide if I should stay local and have an early lunch or just go home.
