I often wonder how it got the name "cornhole" when you're actually tossing bean-bags.  But somehow it did, and now we're stuck with that name for it.

I think it was because the bean bags were filled with unpopped or dried corn. Or at least that is what I have heard. Remember we are creative in the midwest
