On the soy sauce note, when I finally cleaned out the door of the fridge I had some soy sauce with the "best if used by" date was about 5 years prior to the cleaning date. You would have thought my kids had seen the funniest show ever. They laughed about that for days and STILL bring it up whenever I get out the new soy sauce.
