Not sure. We drove through Tampa last week and saw the stadium. What's the tailgate like? Is it like Orlando where there's 10 different lots?

If you drove thru Tampa, I will assume you were on I4/I275. If that’s the case, you drove by either Raymond James Stadium, Home to The Super Bowl Champion Buccaneers and / or you went by the Fairgounds at the Hard Rock Casino.

This concert though is not at either location

The Ice Palace, also known as Amelie Arena is where the concert is and there is no outside tailgating. Nice area and home to the Back to Back Stanley Cup Champions Lightning, but not the best place for a Jimmy concert. He played here a lot way back, but would rather see him at the fairgrounds. You can’t see Amalie from the highway so that might be why you missed it. It is located by Ybor City and Channelside, where the cruise ships dock. Hope that helps.

Alright, I'm in. Booked a flight over the weekend. Will be a quick trip for me, fly down Saturday morning, fly back really early Sunday morning. No ticket yet but I'll worry about that later. Probably look to park in Pink Lot? Looks biggest.

Is there any organized tailgating going on? I live in Tampa and realize the parking issues, but I'm assuming some will be tailgating somewhere.

We're heading downtown to tailgate but not sure where. I noticed there is a Christmas parade (Santafest) at 1:30 so the parking lots could be full early. Anyone else tailgating ?
