My parents used to have the best Christmas parties with family and friends. They rented a 'sleigh' a few times and we went around their neighborhood singing. It was a bunch of fun. Then lots of food and drinks. Ah, the good memories.

Off to that work place. Tonight is my company Christmas party, at a place called Moe's. BBQ, silly pictures, and 4 bowling lanes.

I'm watching the 5:00 news on the local NBC affiliate and they just showed a commercial about a 13 day Alaskan vacation hosted by the station's chief meteorologist. There was a web address for information. I checked the itinerary before I looked at the price, that was a mistake. It's only $8,099.

Got my blood test results and I definitely have gout...will be starting a daily medication after this round of steroids to help keep it at bay. Right now, the pain meds and a margarita seem to be helping quite a bit!

I made a Walmart run this afternoon. Wasn't as bad as I expected. It is hard to be in the Christmas mood when the temps are close to 80°.
I hate shopping and sweating.

Elevate. Lots of fluids (mostly water, no alcohol unfortunately). My Dad had it pretty bad, and there are other things you can do to help.
Cherries or tart cherry juice. ...
Magnesium. ...
Ginger. ...
Warm water with apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and turmeric. ...
Celery or celery seeds. ...
Nettle tea. ...
Dandelion. ...
Milk thistle seeds.
