Didn't sleep much and the roofers beat on the door at 6:45. Ugh No one was awake but were shortly after that. Anyone want to come watch shingles being thrown off the roof and lots of pounding.

For the last 4 or 5 years Hooters has run a promotion on Valentine's Day called shred your ex. They have a virtual shredder, you shred a picture of your ex and you get an email that's good for 10 free boneless wings when you buy 10. I don't know if I'll go to Hooters today but I shredded the s*** out of that thing.

Hey all.....I just spend 3 hours in the courtroom (again).....not a very Happy Valentines Day for any of us in there !

But, Kevin & I will have our own homemade version of surf & turf for dinner -- probably me with some wine; him with some beer, so all will be right in my world (Kevin is down 50 pounds since Sept on his diet so our version of dinner is significantly smaller (and cheaper) than that of any restaurant)

Good afternoon. I baby sat my grandson today. Took him out for breakfast and watched him try to eat
a chocolate chip pancake the size of a steering wheel. He ate about half of it. Got home and Jeannette told
me what she wants for Valentines Day dinner. A sub from "Jersey Mike's".

They give you a choice of shred, bury, burn or throw darts. I went back a second time and threw darts at it.

Another Valentine's Day Week is in the books. We ran out of red roses around 12:30, had 7 drivers, approximately 160 deliveries (that doesn't count walk ins and pick up orders) Luckily we had lots of roses in an array of beautiful colors, just not red.
Sitting here with my aching feet up and sipping a margarita.
Bryan and I exchanged cards this morning before work....with my job that is as much as we do on Valentine's Day.

SO glad this work week is over. I had to cover another person's job for a total of 14 hours this week, and made me not be able to finish some things for my own job. I'm happy to help, but geeze.

E surprised me with another piece to my 'collection' he started in 2017. Pictures do not do it justice. I just love them.


Then we went to our favorite brewery for a Dessert and Beer pairing. SO good, but I couldn't finish it all. And the pairings were perfect.








Off to bed soon. The brain is still too much awake and too much delightful sugar!!

Your paintings are beautiful, Penny. We have collected prints (can't afford originals) by Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth. We have several matted and framed hanging in the house. But we have lots more stored. Matting and framing costs a small fortune!
