Re: Still have to work Monday @ the MSC
I started reading a book the other day, when I opened it something fell out. It was a timetable for the Long Beach branch of the Long Island Railroad dated December 15, 2008. I used to use the timetables as bookmarks when I was still working.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

There are adults who were born and have had children in that intervening period - don't you think it's time to get on with it?

Wow....made a shopping trip. Went to Dollar Tree. No paper goods but still had food. I love that they have so many name brands. Also got dish soap and a few cleaning supplies.
Then to Kroger. OMG. So many empty shelves. Almost no fresh meat. Got some sausage and lots of box meals. Glad we already had a stockpile of hamburger.
Ryan and I made a list of meals we already had in the house. We could put together over 30 meals so now we should be good for 2 months. Might not have much of a variety but we won't starve. Glad we cooked a turkey from our freezer yesterday. After we eat all we want, I will make some soup.

Re: Still have to work Monday @ the MSC
My middle daughter was able to find 2 pkgs of TP at the gas station on her way home from the COVID 19 call center. She said they are small 4 packs but at least she has some and I will continue to look for her. My boss has shortened shop hours to 10-3, and honestly I think it's just a matter of time before they shut us down as we are a non essential business. Our governor is waiting for a ruling to postpone our voting day from tomorrow until June 2nd (I think)
I spoke with my in laws and they are doing okay for now and they have decided that when they need food they will utilize the curbside pickup service at their local Giant Eagle. Depending on if my local meat market is open, I may venture out to get some deli meat and ground beef tomorrow, then again I might just stay home!

Although Hanks has been released from hospital while Wilson is still in isolation, so I guess he's left Wilson behind, again.
