Ordering take out Friday @ the MSC

Since we can't go to our favorite bar tonight, we'll be ordering something to go in order to support them.

At least the snow stopped, but it's 19 and we have to get to work.

We're Still Here!!!
But debating about shutting down the office next week from "in house" appointments. We already get a fair amount of folks dropping off or mailing their tax papers to us but may ask clients to go that route exclusively for next week.

I have a number of Restaurants as clients who always do a decent take out business, yet their numbers are down substantially this past week since Michigan went exclusive to take out/delivery only last Monday. Not overly surprised, yet somewhat surprised the numbers have dropped so greatly. Hopefully the weekend numbers for ordering out do pick up!

Not at work again today. So, I'm trying to keep busy. I'm washing the dogs beds. Not going to cook, we'll either have leftover lasagna or I'll make hot ham or turkey sandwiches for dinner. We usually get take out on Friday nights but since I'm not getting paid, and they will be rotating workers at Bryan's office, we are watching our pennies very closely.

Good morning. Every morning when I get out of the shower, I listen to the radio while I'm getting dressed. This morning I heard a Mike Bloomberg For President commercial. Didn't he drop out of the race a couple of weeks ago? But I guess when you're worth $50 billion, you won't miss whatever it costs to buy commercial time in a small market.

After the commercial, the traffic report came on. The guy who does the report always signs off saying "be safe and drive happy." Today he said "be safe, drive happy and wash your hands."

I'm finally set up to work from home if needed in between the every 6th business day rotation that the judge and I need to report in person.

I won't do things like print documents but other than that I'm good to go.

I work from home so that's business as usual for me. Town is always quiet this time of year, just now even more so. Grocery store and hardware store are both still open so we're set. It's a simple life these days. Except for walking the dog we're just doing stuff around the house, chores, projects, spring cleaning.

The last few days I've noticed some of my neighbors are leaving their shoes outside their front doors. So your shoes might get the virus but your lower legs, socks and pants (if you're wearing them) won't?

Afternoon BNers

Woke up to a big storm so I ate breakfast, took my drugs and went back to bed. It was a nice time to nap except for the thunder. It is still raining but not as hard.

Going to have leftover fajitas for dinner. You know those big foil pans that you can cook a turkey in? We have one full of RICE!!!

No take out (or take-away as it is called here) Mrs Rabz just served up a magnificent roast leg of lamb, with roast veggies and pan gravy.

Yummo.

And the best bit? Cold lamb sandwiches with tomato sauce (think ketchup) for lunch tomorrow.

Oh well back to painting (not the fun type, skirting boards and doors).
