National Cheesesteak Day Tuesday @ the MSC

I've never had one, would love to, but I don't care for peppers and onions (everyone makes them differently).
Every March 24 America pays tribute to one of the all-time classic sandwiches — the cheesesteak. Much like national liberty itself, the cheesesteak is elegant, necessary, pure, and was born in Philadelphia. The cheesesteak rose from humble beginnings in South Philly to the cultural icon it is today: safely secure in the sandwich hall of fame.
Have a good day!

I love a good cheesesteak sammich, our local Firehouse Subs is one of the best. I wonder if they're open today.

Good morning phriends. Just being lazy for awhile before I try to find some things to occupy my time until Bryan gets home. I'll be keeping the fire going, and he wants me to make a batch of his favorite Christmas treat a Pecan pie bark...it's going to wait until my headache is tolerable tho.

Good morning. There's a Jersey Mike's subs walking distance from me, they're closed for dine in service but they're doing take out. I should check their menu online and see if they have cheesesteaks.

I'm a big fan of Jersey Mike's. Have had good luck whenever I've traveled & had their subs.
Went into the Firehouse Subs on BR 17 there in Surfside one time & was far from impressed. Maybe just not a good night in the kitchen there.....

Hi there! We ordered from a local sub/pizza shop that doesn't have a good cheesesteak. I ordered a Stromboli.

Afternoon BNers
Might get to 90 today.
90??
Already??
Too soon for these temps. But really, since we are housebound, I guess it doesn't matter.
Harris county (Houston) is on lockdown. I expect our county (Montgomery) will be soon. Good thing we don't need to go out.

Still waiting on my sis in law's virus test results, she had the test Monday last week. She's feeling good, back to normal and working from home til she gets cleared.

I went online and ordered a cheesesteak from Jersey Mike's. It was OK but I don't think I'd go out of my way to have another one.
There's a Starbucks next to Jersey Mike's, the drive thru was open. When I was walking home after picking up my sandwich, there was a walk up customer at the drive thru at Starbucks. When I worked in banking, for insurance reasons we weren't allowed to take walk up customers at the drive thru.

I had a walk up get interesting. We stopped at a Taco Bell after drinking late in Rochester NY to find the door locked. We saw the drive through on the other side was open, so around the building to order. They could not take an order without a vehicle. Back around the building for the car and soon we were stuffing cheap Mexican down the pie hole.

Nope. Not much call for them in Illinois and Colorado.

I'm sure there are places here in CO that have them, but if they make 'em with peppers and onions, I won't order them.
